$1,000 Match Program presented by Ethnicity Matters
Fundraise now to spread even more light.
The season of giving is upon us with Ramadan, Holi, Nowruz, Eid, Vaisakhi and Easter. Whichever way you celebrate, you can spread light with our new match program.
Ethnicity Matters, Canada's leading multicultural marketing agency, has kindly donated $25,000 to fund Cricket's $1,000 Match. This means between March 6-28, if you and your teammates raise $1,000 in total, you’ll be rewarded with a team donation match of $1,000.
Every dollar your team raises will fund life-saving cancer research at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
*Our Ethnicity Matters Sponsor will double your donations for a limited time. A funds match will be applied to every team that successfully raised $1,000 for the Cricket to Conquer Cancer 2025 event. Participants who are not registered are not eligible for this promotion. The program will commence at 12:01am on March 6, 2025, and will end by 12:01am on March 28, 2025, or when $25,000 or $50,000 in Ethnicity Matters Sponsor matching funds have been depleted. All matched donations will contribute to The Cricket to Conquer Cancer team fundraising minimum requirement of $6,000. Matching funds will be added to the team’s fundraising page within 7-10 business days.

Refer a New Captain, Earn Fundraising Credits
Are you registered for the 2025 Cricket event and know someone who wants to be the Captain of a team? We’re making it easy for everyone to boost their fundraising efforts with our Refer & Raise program.
Follow these steps to refer someone and you’ll both earn a fundraising credit.
How to Refer Raise Play
- Register a team for Cricket if you haven’t already
- Ask friends, family, and colleagues to join Cricket as a Captain
- Let them know to enter your name or your team’s name when they register their team
- Once both teams have raised $500, you'll both receive a $500 fundraising credit
